BEFORE YOUR SPRAY TAN
- The night before your Spray Tan in Bromley, remove your dead skin cells by exfoliating then moisturise, paying particular attention to elbows, knees, ankles and problem dry areas,
- Wax / shave at least 24 hours prior to treatment to allow pores time to close. Dotting in the pores may occur if not adhered to,
- Do not moisturise or use skin lotions on the day of your Spray Tan,
- Remove make-up, deodorant, lotions etc before your Spray Tan,
AFTER YOUR SPRAY TAN
- Wear loose fitting, dark coloured clothing. Any tight clothing or underwear may cause wear marks,
- Wear loose-fitting shoes or flip-flops,
- Do not bathe or shower for at least 8 hours (the development period) - preferably overnight,
- Do not exercise or swim during the development period,
- Try not to touch your skin during the development time. After your Spray Tan, you will see that your hands are clear from tanning solution. Any marks on your hands are, therefore, due to you touching the developing Spray Tan. You need to be aware that once it has developed, nothing can remove the Spray Tan from your palms. Tip Wear loose socks over your hands in bed,
- After showering / bathing, pat yourself dry only,
- Moisturise, moisturise and moisturise some more. Morning and night,
- After day 5, exfoliate on a daily basis to help your skin absorb even more moisturiser and keep it looking even more gorgeous. Then moisturise with a tan top-up for best results,
- Long exposure to water and sweating from exercise will fade your Spray Tan. Your outer cells will start to soak up water which dilutes the effect of the Spray Tan. The longer you are in water, the lighter your tan will get.
